Before you set out, we raise your comfort level by giving you complete instructions on how to operate your vessel. Our experienced captains will even drive you in and out of the marina. And, if you have any questions along the way, we're just a radio call away.

State Dock custom houseboats are built exclusively for comfort and entertainment. Our boats feature private staterooms, central air conditioning, ranges, microwaves, refrigerators, GPS, stereos, coolers, outdoor furniture, waters, slides, TVs and DVDs. They're also stocked with fresh sheets, blankets & towels, and kitchen utensils for your convenience.

No other Lake Cumberland rental company provides this level of service provided at no extra charge. Most models are equipped with hot tubs to take your entertainment and relaxation to the next level.

At State Dock, you'll spend your vacation surrounded by luxury. Our premium boats are equipped with everything that makes your experience special, including hot tubs that heat up in just two hours. You'll enjoy all the conveniences of home plus extras like satellite tracking television, satellite music, great stereo systems, party tops, waterslides, extra large outdoor grills and more!

State Dock offers the only diesel powered rental boats on Lake Cumberland. Since diesel generators and engines don't produce dangerous levels of carbon monoxide, you and your family can relax and enjoy the ride. Diesel engines consume almost 50% less fuel than gas, keeping your fuel expense at a minimum.

Rental rates do not include 7% property damage waiver, fuel or 6% KY sales tax.

Want to rent a houseboat for a full week? Just add two rates together (one midweek rate and one weekend rate) and then deduct 5% from the total in the Premium season or save 10% from the total in the Standard & Super Savers seasons!


			Want the Captain's Club Rates? Of course you do!! Many of our customers take advantage of the great benifits of the Captain's Club and here's how you can too.. When you charter a houseboat from State Dock for two consecutive years or rent an annual slip, you are automatically enrolled in the Captain's Club.

You will receive a 5% discount on all the charter rates (see rates above) and a 5% discount on all fuel and shipstore purchases as well! We even have added benefits for our most loyal customers.

When you rent a houseboat for five or more consecutive years, you are upgraded to the Admiral's Club. With the Admiral's Club, you will not only receive a 5% discount on all rentals, but also a 10% discount on fuel, shipstore purchases and provisioning services!

So you want your next vacation to be on one of our amazing houseboats on beautiful Lake Cumberland.

First, you'll have to see if the houseboat(s) you want is available. To do so, call us at our toll-free number listed below or click here to check availability online.

Once an open date is confirmed, one of our reservation staff will need to make the reservation for you.

A $600 (refundable) deposit is due within ten days of making the reservation. The remainder of your balance is due within 30 days of your boarding date. For example, if your boarding date was July 1st, your rental would be due June 1st. Of course, you can always pay your deposit and rental at the time you call.

We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Checks & money orders are always accepted as well. Please make checks out to: State Dock and send to:

After receiving your deposit, we will send you a confirmation of your reservation. Approximately two weeks before your arrival date you will receive a boarding pass which will have all your relevant information such as arrival date, boarding times, etc. Also included will be a provisioning order form, a list of useful items to bring with you, and other information that will be helpful to your trip.
